Mistaken Point

Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is best known for its wealth of Ediacaran fossils, providing a glimpse into the beginnings of multicellular life on Earth.

This speculative identity embraces those themes, with a mark inspired by cell division and a design system that centers the site’s unique fossils in bold colors. All materials are typeset in BVH Anto Rounded.
For the identity, I developed stationery for the site, three magazine advertisements, an informational booklet, a site sign, a web landing page and a van wrap.
